Al Huda Quran Teaching’s Islamic Studies course is a comprehensive online Islamic education programme for children and adults of all levels. It is designed to be taken alongside any of our Quran courses as a powerful supplement, or as a standalone course for students who want to deepen their Islamic knowledge independently.

What You Will Learn — Full Islamic Studies Curriculum
Module 1— Islamic Beliefs & Tawheed (Aqeedah)
The foundation of Islam is correct belief. This module covers the six pillars of Iman — belief in Allah, the Angels, the Books, the Prophets, the Day of Judgement, and Divine Decree — alongside the fundamental concept of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) and its meaning in daily Muslim life.
- Tawheed — the Oneness of Allah and its implications for daily life
- The Six Pillars of Iman and the Articles of Islamic Faith
- The 99 Names of Allah (Asmaul Husna) with meanings
- The Five Pillars of Islam — Shahada, Salah, Zakat, Sawm, and Hajj explained in depth
- Zakat — who must pay it and how it is calculated
- Sawm — fasting in Ramadan, its rules, etiquette, and spiritual rewards
- Hajj — the pilgrimage to Makkah, its rites, and its spiritual significance
Module 2 — How to Perform Namaz (Salah) Correctly
Many Muslims pray daily without ever being formally taught the correct method. This practical module walks through every step of Salah — from Wudu and intention through to the final Tasleem — ensuring every student prays with full confidence and correctness.
- Conditions for Salah — Taharah (purity), Wudu procedure, and what invalidates Wudu
- How to perform all five Fard Salah — Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha
- The words of Salah — Takbir, Qiyam, Ruku, Sujood, and Tashahhud
- Sunnah and Nafl prayers — their significance and method
- Common mistakes in Salah and how to correct them
Module 3 — Essential Duas & The Six Kalimas
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us a Dua for every moment of our lives. This module combines the most important daily supplications with the Six Kalimas — the fundamental declarations of faith every Muslim must know by heart — complete with Arabic text, transliteration, translation, and memorisation.
- Morning and evening Adhkar (remembrances)
- Dua before and after meals, before sleeping, upon waking, and when entering or leaving the home
- Dua for protection, relief from difficulty, and gratitude
- Dua when entering the mosque and the marketplace
- Kalima Tayyibah — the first and most fundamental declaration of faith
- Kalima Shahaadat through to Kalima Radde Kufr — all six with meanings
- Memorisation of all Six Kalimas with correct pronunciation
Module 4 — Islamic History & Stories of the Prophets
Understanding Islamic history deepens every Muslim’s faith and identity. This module covers the essential stories of the Prophets and key events in early Islamic history in an engaging, narrative style — drawing timeless lessons that apply directly to modern Muslim life.
- Stories of the major Prophets: Adam, Ibrahim, Musa, Isa, and Muhammad (PBUH)
- The Seerah — life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from birth to passing
- The Hijra, the Battle of Badr, and key events in early Islamic history
- Lessons and values drawn from each story for modern Muslim life
